The V6 Custom is a revolver manufactured around the first days of the Death Stranding. John Blake McClane, acting as special advisor to President Bridget Strand and head of security at a Bridges BB plant, owns one, when meets his old commander Cliff Unger. Cliff's comatose wife and his baby are part of an experimental procedure that keeps them both alive. When John confides to Cliff that his wife will never wake up and that his son will soon be moved to another facility, he gave him his loaded revolver. Later, Cliff wraps a cloth around the barrel of the revolver and euthanizes his wife. Afterwards. Cliff uses the revolver to intimidate the guards, but one of them fires at him during the escape. Having retrieved the gun, Bridget ordered John to execute Cliff. When he hesitated, Bridget grabbed his arm and pulled the trigger, shooting Cliff in the chest and killing him, as well as the BB previously freed.

After the accident, John assume the new identity of Die-Hardman, deciding to keep the revolver as a reminder of what he had done.

Years later, during Sam's expedition to west, Die-Hardman is invited to the Beach by Amelie with a baby doll, and here he tries to kill Amelie, who is posing as Bridget, and finally realizes that Bridget and Amelie are the same person, until Cliff arrives, also invited by Amelie, who kidnaps Die-Hardman, even if he finally recognizes the old comrade. At some point, however, Die-Hardman returns to the world of the living. The revolver remain on Amelie's Beach untile she return to begin the Last Stranding. Afterwards, Amelie gave the revolver to Sam, hoping that him can make the right decision to stop the Last Stranding. During his time alone on Amelie's Beach, Sam try to use the revoler to end his life, failing because useless in that place.

Notes[]

  • The WellMax V6 Custom is named "Revolver" when briefly used by Sam in Episode 13.
  • The WellMax V6 Custom seems heavily inspired by the Italian revolver Chiappa Rhino.
  • Since it is stated that the items cannot be brought to or brought to the Beach, the only explanation as to why the revolver can is because of its part in the life events of numerous characters connected to the Last Stranding, or a plot device.
  • If Sam try to shoot Amelie with the revolver, a some sort of barrier block the rounds.
