The All-terrain skeleton is an exoskeleton system that allows Sam to traverse rough terrain without using stamina.

Overview[]

The All-terrain Skeleton is a useful piece of equipment for climbing through uneven surfaces and improving overall movement. It's the most balanced skeleton of the three, and a mandatory piece of equipment when when Sam is in snowy terrain. It offers a decent sprint speed when using boost, too, and reduces the rate at which Sam will be worn out while crossing rough terrain and helps his balance. Like all the skeletons, the use of all-terrain drain the battery and the boosting drain it at an accelerated rate. The design and later upgrades are received from the Roboticist.

Upgrades[]

Name Descriptions Materials Required Size Weight Unlocked by
All-terrain Skeleton (Lv.1) An "Active Skeleton" that improves the wearer's ability to move and stay upright on uneven surfaces. You will be less liable to slip or lose speed on rough terrain while the skeleton is equipped and battery power is available. The Endurance Gauge will also drain at half speed when you are in rivers or on steep slopes.

Press L3 for a boost that will further improve stability, and will prevent your Endurance Gauge from draining at all.

Be aware that boosting will drain battery at an accelerated rate. Keep an eye on your battery levels.

The battery will gradually recharge in sunny or cloudy weather.

Cargo can still be attached to the hips while using an All-Terrain Skeleton.
