A backpack cover is an equipment that can be added to Sam's backpack.
Overview[]
The backpack cover protects a part of Sam's load that comes up to his shoulders, protecting it from the effects of timefall. While the standard Lv.1 cover (Silver) has a limited lifespan, and therefore must be replaced as soon as possible, the upgraded Lv.2 cover (Gold) allows for significantly greater resistance to rain and is therefore replaced less often. Both the Lv.1 and Lv.2 backpack cover are unlocked completing orders from the Collector and are then available in Private Room at sites with sufficient materials.

- Recycling of Chiral Crystals is not necessary as long as Sam has sufficient in his possession, however, Sam must earn sufficient likes from the Social NPC of the site to increase Chiral Crystals capacity in Claim Material screen to more than the minimum of 1.
