The Canteen is an item filled with Monster Energy that Sam can drink to replenish his stamina.
Overview[]
The canteen is capable of holding up to 1.000 milliliters, and Sam can drink from the canteen anytime, restoring a certain degree of his stamina and allowing him to run, climb, and do other exhaustive things for longer periods of time, unless is stamina as dropped from a certain degree. When the drink end, or just decreases, it can be refilled by automatically filtering water or timefall that comes into contact with Sam and mixing with the Bridges Energy. The canteen can also be refilled automatically by visiting any private rooms. As a side effect, drinking from the canteen will fill up Sam's bladder and allow him to urinate.

- Monster Energy Canteen is a collaboration between Kojima and Monster Energy. In the Director's Cut however Monster Energy is replaced by the property Bridges Energy.
