A Lv.3 Cargo Catapult

The Cargo Catapult is a structure type, exclusive to Director's Cut version, that is used to drop cargo across long distances and remote areas.

Overview[]

The Cargo Catapult is a structure that can be used to drop cargo to remote areas by launching them in a Cargo Catapult Pod across the land. Each Cargo Pod have a in built Parachute to prevent damage while landing. The Pod can be controlled remotely while its Parachute is open. After landing, retrieving cargo will make the Pod self-destruct, leaving its debris for a short period of time. Players can decide which cargo they want to lauch by using the Select Cargo menu. Requires a PCC Lv.2 and 1100 bandwidth of the Chiral Network for its construction.

As Sam progresses on his journey, he can upgrade the Cargo Catapult to unlock new functions.

Be sure to open the parachute before the pod hits the ground. The pod can be controlled remotely while its parachute is open. Launches cargo in pods.

Notes[]

  • Cargo Catapults can be used to protect cargo from dangerous areas, such as BT areas, MULEs and Terrorist camps.
    • It can also be used to knockout human enemies by launching cargo onto them.
  • Places with difficult terrain to vehicles can also benefit from a Cargo Catapult.
  • Not opening the Parachute while landing will severely damage all cargo within the Pod when hitting the ground.
    • Landing on a Cargo Catapult Pod while in middair will result in it's destruction, even with its Parachute open.[1]
