The climbing anchor is a tool that allows Sam to safely ascend or descend steep terrain by securing a rope to cliffs or slopes, facilitating traversal during his travels.

Overview[]

The climbing anchor is a small tool consisting of a long metal rod that, when driven securely into the ground, serves as a fixed point to which a rope can be attached. Once deployed, the anchor enables safe traversal of steep terrain, allowing users to ascend or descend slopes and cliffs. The maximum strand length that can be attached is 30 meters.

Climbing anchors are commonly used by porters like Sam to navigate hazardous terrain. Once placed, an anchor remains in the world and can be utilized by other porters during their own deliveries.
