Edge Knot City is a city on the western region of the continental United Cities of America, and is run by the Homo Demens.
History[]
Edge Knot City was the final goal of the Bridges 3-year expedition lead by Amelie to convincing isolated communities across continental America to join the UCA and connect to the Chiral Network. At one point, the city and the expedition are attacked by a terrorist group of separatists who oppose Bridges' plan to reconnect America. The Demens destroy the city, probably also using necrosed corpses to create voidouts, and separate the area from the rest of the continent via a tar pit. Amelie is then isolated within the city but still manages to contact Bridges HQ and her brother Sam to ask him to activate the chiral nodes installed during her expedition and to reach Edge Knot City, saving her and thus reconnecting America.
Towards the end of his expedition, Sam reaches Edge Knot City, a ravaged ghost town swarming with BTs at that time, and here he has a fight against Higgs, the leader of the Demens, who, having captured Amelie, uses her to summon a colossal BT, the same one that attacked Sam and the Corpe Disposal Team 6 long ago. Defeated Higgs, Sam finally connects Edge Knot City to the chiral network, however, without his knowledge, starting the Last Stranding.
