Generators are wind-powered PCC structures used to recharge battery-powered equipment and vehicles within proximity.

Overview[]

A generator is a slender, wind-powered structure used to recharge both battery-powered equipment and vehicles. Since all gear and vehicles rely on electricity, generators are essential for maintaining functionality once batteries are depleted. Constructing one requires the use of a PCC and at least 350 units of chiral bandwidth. As the structure is upgraded, in addition to increased durability and timefall-resistance, its charging radius expands and it recharges batteries more quickly.

By the time of the Australian expedition, generator designs have been improved, with upgraded variants allowing for batteries to be overcharged.

Notes[]

  • In the UCA, all Knot Cities (except Mountain Knot City) feature freely available, proprietary generators near their entrances.
  • Other structures, such as highways and bridges, will stop vehicle batteries from depleting, but will not recharge them.
  • Placing generators in areas with high wind speeds increases their range and rate of recharge.
