The Grenade is a lethal thrown weapon developed by the United States military.
Overview[]
The Grenade is the standard hand grenade used by both the United States military and various forces around the world pre-Stranding. The weapon has a 3-second fuse upon triggering. Its design was believed to aid in throwing the weapon and it's fragmentation, and is also one of the reasons why fragmentation grenades are often nicknamed "pineapples" (due to its pineapple-esque shape).
Since the grenade doesn't use Sam's blood, it is useless against the BTs but can actually kill other humans, which is a problem in the world post-Stranding, since someone death leads to more BTs and a potential voidout. In addition to Sam, the grenade is used on the battlefield Beach.
