Guillermo del Toro is a Mexican film director, screenwriter, producer, and novelist who provided his likeness for Deadman in Death Stranding. Del Toro was not creatively involved in Death Stranding, however; he merely served as the basis for his character's appearance.[1]
He is known for having directed Hellboy (2004), and Academy Award-winning fantasy films Pan's Labyrinth (2006) and The Shape of Water (2017).
Notes[]
- It was Guillermo del Toro who initially introduced Kojima to Norman Reedus.[2]
