The WM.45 Carbine, is a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol. It was designed and manufactured by WellMax.
Overview[]
The WM.45 is lethal anti-personnel weapon, a really standard weapon, very lightweight and versatile. Like other Bridges weapons, the handgun is made up of two parts: the weapon and an external shell. The weapon is very compact with an internal "lever" that allows you to load a bullet into the barrel. The external shell allows the weapon to be carried like a cargo and attached to Sam's suit.

Since the handgun doesn't use Sam's blood, it is useless against the BTs but can actually kill other humans, which is a problem in the world post Death Stranding, since someone death leads to more BTs and a potential voidout. In addition to Sam, the handgun, without the external shell, is carried as a survival weapon by the Bridges CDT, in case they where catch by BTs, and as an offensive weapon by the terrorist faction of the Homo Demens.
The WM.45 can be improved with various attachments, like an optical sight and a suppressor, and the capacity of firing hematic bullets. A custom variant is also present, wich can shot golden bullets coated with chiralium, making it even more effective against BTs.

Notes[]
- The WM.45 Carbine is named "Hangun" in the game.
- The WM.45 Carbine seems heavily inspired by the Colt M1911.
- The version without the external shell is seen in use early on by Igor; using one to mercy kill a teammate caught by BTs, and then attempting suicide with it once caught by BTs himself. However this variant is not present in the game.
