These boots are a moderately durable, no-frills type of footwear worn by MULEs—rogue porters who obsessively hunt down and steal cargo. While their design prioritizes functionality over comfort, they are noticeably less efficient than standard Bridges gear. MULE boots offer slightly lower durability than Level 1 Bridges boots, are heavier by 0.1 kg, and degrade faster under harsh conditions, making them a less optimal choice for long treks.
These boots cannot be fabricated and are instead acquired as loot. Sam can obtain them by scavenging MULE camps—either from incapacitated MULEs, their postboxes, or simply lying around. While not ideal for extended use, they can serve as emergency replacements when no better options are available.
