Nick Easton is the head of distribution at Capital Knot City and a member of Bridges.
Story[]
Like most of the Bridges personnel Nick Easton was probably one of the members that Amelie choose for the first westward expedition and, just like the others, he was a fervent supporter of the reconstructionism promoted by Bridges. He was eventually appointed as the Head of Distribution for the distro center of Capital Knot City, the second city were the chiral network was perfected, the other one was the sister city Central Knot.
When Sam returns after ten years of private working as a freelance porter, Nick initially mistake him for a newbie and call him "kid", unaware of who Sam really is, but when Deadman corrected him, unhappy about how he treating the porter, Nick feel like a dumbass and fells like in safe hands if a living legend like Sam is helping Bridges expand the network from coast to coast.
At some point rumors of a weird glowing thing up on the rooftops near the isolation ward of Capital Knot begun spread among the personnel, believing it is a Ka (the part of a human that doesn’t turn into a BT), but his pal couldn’t find anything so Nick reported this to Sam, thinking he can do better.
After Sam delivers a supply of crypobiotes to Capital Knot City for a dying Fragile, Easton supplies Sam with a Bridges hat.
