Order No. 38: Emergency Provisions Delivery: South Knot City is one of the orders in Death Stranding.
Objectives[]
- Deliver the Small Thermonuclear Weapon to South Knot City.
Walkthrough[]
Sam is unknowingly given a Small Thermonuclear Weapon by a disguised Higgs and contracted to deliver it to South Knot City. Should Sam enter the city or stray too far away from the package, it will detonate and result in a game over.
To prevent this, Sam must travel to Fragile's location at the Distribution Center South of Lake Knot City and enter the Private room. After realizing the package was given to him by Higgs, Sam and Fragile will open it to discover its a bomb and that a countdown timer of 30 minutes has been activated. Sam is then tasked with throwing the package in the tar lake north of South Knot City. Once this has been accomplished, the order is complete.

It is possible to go directly to the tar lake without talking to Fragile first. This does make sense within the lore, as the item description implies that Sam has already realized it's a bomb, and Sam has previously been to the Junk Dealer and has been told about getting rid of items by throwing them into the bottomless tar lake.
Trivia[]
It would appear that Higgs made alterations both to the logo of Fragile Express, by cradling it in skeletal hands, and also its slogan, "Handled with Love", by changing it to what appears to be "Handled with Death".
