The Photographer is a prepper and delivery recipient of Sam's. As her name implies, she is a photographer.
Story[]
Background[]
The Photographer grew up in a city with her parents unitl one day her father said that they had to leave, that he was sick of city life. Even if her mother didn't have any choice but to go along with it, she understand his husband feeling, and the three move in a shelter outside the city's wall. Here, the Photographer's father want to figure out the Death Stranding and fix the world, goin out with his old camera investigating the area around him.
At some point, he started taking his daughter with him, teaching her to take photos of rocks and murals and the like, spending time together and educating her, much to the mother's worries. But one day, during one of his investigations, which will prove to be important, his father died and the camera was lost, throwing his family into despair.
Sam's Westward Expedition[]
At some point, during a trip, following his father's step, she discover a cave with painting of whales and dolphins made by Neanderthals. Even if she didn't understand the implications of her discovery, she made photo of the paintings but was forced to leave quickly because of the presence of the MULE's and lost her camera. Sam made contact with her during his westward expedition to get her to join the UCA and the chiral network when he retrive the Photographer's camera and return to her.
The photos turned out to be important, showing sea creatures with umbilical cords, which they are theorized to be BTs, in Neanderthal's times. This discovery would not only have made his father proud, but it is one more step in discovering the Death Stranding. With renewed enthusiasm, the photographer then continues to investigate, paying more attention.
At some point the Mountaneer retrive data from the Photographer's fahter, and he request Sam to delivery them back. The Photographer, wich decided to stop taking trips outside because it stressed her mom out too much, found pictures of the Mountain Knot City area, from before the tar showed up and started spreading, with something really strange in some of the shots, a glowing object. She wrote this to Sam, in the hope that it will be interesting.
