Porter Suit

The Porter Protective Suit is a protective coverall worn by Sam and other freelance Porters while working as a contractor for Bridges or independently.

Overview[]

As the name suggests, the suit is the standard suit used by freelance porters. It is notably less advanced than the standard-issue Bridges suits, with an external low-fidelity radio unit, no automatic timefall mechanized hood sensor and no canteen. The suit is white-grey in color, with black sleeves and boots (wich break fairly easily), a smaller three-pronged version of the Odradek, a yellow bag and a cargo mounts on each shoulder.

Sam begins the events of the game wearing one of these suits, with the addition of a backpack on the back and a symmetrical five-pronged star design, Odradek, wich sustain some damage after crashing his bike, and discards it early on once he is tasked with the disposal of Bridget Strand's corpse.

Notes[]

The ribbed torso section and large shoulders of the porter suit bear resemblance to the Skull Suit featured in Metal Gear Solid 2.
MULEs and Homo Demens can also be seen making use of the suits in various modified and decorated forms, likely having stolen or copied them.
