Sandalweed is an optional footwear for Sam.

Overview[]

While manufactured boots are preferable for traversing the landscape, this plant is an emergency option available if Sam's footwear degrades far away from a private room. While sandalweed's durability is the lowest of all footwear options, it is weightless, never locked by a task or requirement, grows freely throughout the wilderness, and takes up no storage space. However, the weed has one highly desirable advantage; it renders Sam's footsteps completely inaudible, and is thus highly useful for traversing MULE and BT-infested areas.
