The speed skeleton is an active skeleton, a type of equipment that aids Sam during his expedition by enhancing his mobility, allowing him to move faster with less effort.

Overview[]

This skeleton greatly enhances Sam’s movement speed and significantly improves his jumping distance, making it ideal for quick deliveries and rapid traversal across open terrain. It allows Sam to cover ground much faster than on foot alone, which can be crucial when evading enemies or racing against timefall. Like all active skeletons, it draws power from Sam’s battery, with sprinting and boosting consuming energy at a faster rate. The speed skeleton and its upgrades are acquired through deliveries to the Junk Dealer.

Description[]

An "Active Skeleton" that boosts the wearer's mobility. Simply equip to use, and press (L3/Shift) while equipped for a boost that will increase your speed, and will allow you to jump further while sprinting.

Be aware that boosting will drain battery at an accelerated rate. Keep an eye on your battery levels.

The battery will gradually recharge in sunny or cloudy weather.

Cargo can still be attached to the hips while using a Speed skeleton.
