The wind farm is one of the Bridges facilities in the eastern region.
Overview[]
The Wind Farm was built by Bridges during the first expedition, lead by Amelie, in a place, northwest of the Distribution Center, up a long hill and through a windy forest valley that's also a prominent BTs zone. While not a Waystation or Distribution Center, this facility was build with the intentions to provides the necessary power for the various facilities, structures, Knot cities and to help expand the Chiral Network across America.
During the tree years of isolation however, the facility could only provide power only to the small region despite the initials plan. Sill keeping faith in the "American Reconstructionism" of President Strand and for the following second expedition the staff kept the Wind Farm properly maintained for the times to come.
It is only thanks to Sam's expedition to the west that the Wind Farm, finally connected to the Chiral Network, can work at the 100% and can send the power to all the big cities and beyond. Transmitting the power via the Beach, the farm don’t suffer any additional loss due to increased distances, so it can go as far as the Bridges need it to.
